On Point Engineering is always looking to add like-minded members to our network of engineers and designers. Our goal is to empower and provide opportunities to those looking to use their talents and skills to serve our clients.
The On Point Network consists of remote freelance
Structural Engineers, EITs, and Designers
looking to grow their structural experience while also
gain freedom in their careers, location, and finances.
Whether you are looking for part-time work to earn extra income for a season, are looking for part-time work while going back to school, or are wanting to travel the world while working, there are opportunities for you at On Point Engineering.
After becoming a member, our goal is to help you take your next step in your career and life. We'll discuss your goals and why you want to join our network and what you hope to walk away with when your time with us ends. We provide a training coarse for you to learn our standards and so you can start signing up for opportunities as they come available.

HERE'S OUR PROCESS:
On Point Engineering will win opportunities to provide structural services for our clients. Our goal is to win projects that are enjoyable from a technical standpoint but also to win work from clients who are enjoyable to work with. Our ability to win enjoyable projects is tied to the talent of our network and our ability to provide great services to our clients.
WIN THE PROJECT
On Point will then send out an
“Opportunity to Provide Engineering Design” (OPED)
email to the network. The OPED will detail the project scope and what available positions are available for the project.
Each team position is assigned a fixed compensation based on the the amount of responsibility for the project. If you are interested in the project, there will be a link to sign up to join the project team!
INFORM THE NETWORK
Team members will be chosen based on level of experience required for the project & experience completing previous On Point Engineering projects (the more projects you complete with OPE, the more opportunities you’ll have for future projects).
Project applicants will be will be notified of the final team selection and project contracts will be sent to selected team members.
BUILD THE TEAM
Each team will be led by a Professional Engineer. The Team Lead will schedule a project kick off meeting with the entire team to discuss roles, responsibilities, and project schedule. The team will work together to complete the project and provide construction drawings for the client. Once the project is completed, team members will be compensated for their service and can sign up for their next project!
